Design Manager to lead the product design in Suunto
Suunto's design excellence is built on deep user and use context understanding and integration of design with all functions inside Suunto. Industrial design team is involved in all product development and marketing work from early user interviews and concept creation, through the product development project. In this position you have overview to all Suunto products, current and those to be.
Main responsibility areas
- Create and maintain a competitive design strategy
- Lead the design with Suunto team and help of external resources
- Act as a manager for a team of professionals
- Act as a designer in projects
- Improve the user experience of Suunto products and services
In order to succeed in this job you have:
- At least Bachelors level education from design
- Excellent consumer product design capabilities
- Capability to manage a design team in customer projects
- Excellent networking skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Passion for Sports is an advantage
