MaMa ry järjestää typografiaillan Helsingissä tiistaina 12.04.2011 klo 18.00-21.00 Hotelli Scandic’issa, Simonkatu 9.
Luvassa on “Vinkkejä parempaan suunnitteluun ja keskustelua typografiasta.” Luento on englanninkielinen.
Kurssin vetäjänä toimii typografiaguru Eva Wilsson, joka on tukholmalainen graafikko, typografi ja opettaja

Typographic evening
Technical innovations may come and go but there is no sign of communication through written words decreasing. Typography gives the words form and plays a part of most of our daily activities. Eva Wilsson will this evening give an introduction to typography, take us through the development of letterforms and give hands on advice for good typographic practise today.
Beware: once you have got your eyes open to typography there is no getting away from it – you will notice fascinating letterforms everywhere you go.
Eva Wilsson is a Swedish graphic designer and teacher. She studied graphic design at London College of Printing and Konstfack College, Stockholm and worked at design agencies in London and Amsterdam before settling down in Stockholm to start her own company. She also teaches graphic design and is course director of Grafiska Institutiet, Stockholm University.
